Problem
College students often struggle to buy or sell everyday essentials like books, gadgets, and accessories safely and affordably. Existing platforms like OLX or Facebook Marketplace are cluttered, unreliable, and full of strangers, making students hesitant to use them for campus-based exchanges. There’s no verified, trusted space where students can easily trade within their own campus network.
Solution
UniSwap solves this by creating a verified, campus-first marketplace built exclusively for students. Every user signs up with a verified college ID, ensuring safety and trust. Students can buy, sell, or exchange anything—from books and calculators to headphones and cycles—within their own or nearby colleges. LoopIt keeps things simple, fast, and affordable with in-person meetups, college-based filtering, and a clean, Gen-Z-friendly interface
LoopIt started as a simple idea during my college days when I saw students struggling to sell or buy used books and gadgets within campus. Most ended up relying on random WhatsApp groups or shady online listings, which were either inactive or unsafe. I wanted to build something that felt made for students — fast, verified, and trustworthy. That’s how LoopIt was born: a platform built by a student, for students, to make campus trading simple and safe.
